Photographing weddings on the beach in Costa Rica is an honor and pleasure.

These beach weddings are often intimate family & friends affairs, with a palpable joy in each others presence and the present moment.  Regardless of the wedding size or style, beach weddings just seem to lend themselves to laid-back elegance and appreciating the simple joys — the breeze of the ocean, flowers from around the corner adorning the groom’s neck or in the bride’s hair, the wonder of family and friends gathered from near and far.  Plus add in those touches such as tropical arbors, bouquets, and wedding favors made responsibly from local natural sources, and the ritual of the ceremony, the kiss, the party, yet all with the backdrop of Costa Rica’s natural landscapes –> Yes! No wonder beach weddings in Nosara and nearby areas are such as pleasure. 🙂
