Family Portrait Session at Home

Lots of love. . .

I had a wonderful time photographing Tessa, Rae, and their little one.  Most of my photo sessions actually take place right on the beach in Costa Rica.  So it was something different  for me to meet these ladies in their beautiful home in Los Angeles, California.  Another fun thing about this session was that it was actually a friend of the family who booked the session for Tessa & Rae as a gift.  Very cool!

In talking about their preferences for the photo shoot, we decided to keep the styling very casual.  I advised the girls to just “come as they are” with the exception of considering complementary colors in their clothing choices.  It was really nice to capture moments with this family interacting in such a natural way.
