“Slice of Life” Video: Arepa’s Ceviche

Portrait & Wedding Photography are my passion, but I also enjoy occasionally taking on something different. In this case, I created a short video to show a “slice of life” in Nosara, Costa Rica.  The video and accompanying short article were then published by local press in Costa Rica, including the Voice of Guanacaste online edition.  Fun project!

Arepa’s Ceviche

“Nosara’s gas station is a happening place, in part because of Jose Lopez.

Jose, better known as Arepa, has been singing and slinging ceviche here since the gas station opened two years ago.
He keeps his cooler of ceviche in the trunk of his station wagon and the napkins and spices on a table to the side. This humble set-up has become a popular lunch spot, and on any given day dozens of people come up for a cup of ceviche.  Arepa says it took him about 5 months to perfect the recipe, which he has no intentions of changing now that he’s found that perfect flavor.”

People from over 40 countries have eaten at this ceviche stand. Incredible but true! “Increible pero cierto!” 🙂
