A look at Christy & David’s family portraits in Nosara

Christy & David’s family – just the best bunch! Christy is a gorgeous mom and those are her two little ones in the photo below, age 8 and age almost-1. Residents of Texas, they had a family trip planned to Nosara, Costa Rica. Christy booked a family portrait session a couple weeks before she arrived. We chatted on the phone and I learned it was going to be little Ollie’s first international trip. Awesome!

When the day came we spent an hour together in the mid afternoon, laughing, strolling, stopping for photos. I tailored the images to Christy’s preferences based on our conversation, and made sure to take lots of photos of the moments “after the pose.” The next evening after the kid’s bedtime I met Christy & Dave at their vacation rental home and we watched a slideshow of the images. It also happened that Christy’s birthday was during the trip so um. . . duh! Chocolate cake for all!

I love a good excuse to pick up a Chocolate Cake or Vegan Chocolate Pudding from the local baker to share with new friends. It makes me very happy! Holler at me if you love a fine chocolate.

I honestly get giddy knowing that Christy and her family will be able to enjoy this album for years. We made it with a teal cover, size 6×9, my new favorite size because it works almost everywhere. Its a little smaller than a full size coffee table book, so it can be for the coffee table, side table, bookshelves, or put in your purse to take to grandma’s house.
